ASAP regularly organizes activities for all Amsterdam UMC PhD students. Most events are organized yearly: the New Year’s drinks, Summer Drinks, Career Event, PhD Thesis Printers Fair, and our biggest yearly event: the Science Night. The ‘Pimp my…’ sessions are organized monthly. In these short sessions around lunch time, various interesting subjects are covered, such as presentation skills, cryptocurrencies, mindfulness, or getting a mortgage. They are free of charge and open to everyone.
The events are primarily targeted at the Amsterdam UMC PhD students, but aspiring or former PhD candidates, other colleagues, or just anyone fun and interested is welcome to join!
